As another option for those who are unable to make the regular online training program work due to technical issues, we have posted an MP4 format video of the training for local elected officials here. This video includes all of the content from the regular training course except it does not generate a certificate at the end (because we cannot track who watches the video). Please note that the statute does not require a certificate from the FOIA Council, it only requires that you report your name and the date you completed the training to the clerk of your public body, so if you choose to complete the training by watching the video, please report that information to your clerk.
